Thega Sword

The sword has a wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade. The first part is engraved with gilt figures, tigers and birds among floral elements; it has nine grooves at the center, three thin grooves at the back, the tip featuring a cartouche engraved with a deity, damask surface, the opposite side decorated en suite. The big tulwar grip has a wide disk-pommel featuring gilt inlays and floral motifs. The simple, wooden scabbard is covered in green velvet.
